FINN MALLERY
President
Finn Mallery is a junior studying Mathematical and Computational Science. He joined SMG as a consultant for the LA Clippers and a startup accelerator before becoming a project manager for BeReal, developing strategies to drive growth among GenZ users. Outside of Stanford Marketing, he runs Stanford operations and leads launch teams for Fizz. He’s excited to step into leadership and continue expanding SMG’s impact on clients and members alike.
BRIAN LEE
Vice President, finance
Brian is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Economics with interest in Finance, Policy, and Entrepreneurship. He was born in Seoul, South Korea and spent his early years there until he moved to the United States in 6th Grade. Brian joined SMG during his freshman fall after taking a gap year and consulted for Hilton Hotels and Microsoft Xbox. Brian hopes to become a global problem solver who creates meaningful solutions for the world. During his free time, Brian loves to cook, watch soccer, and explore various drinks (coffee, whiskey & wine)!
SEJOON CHANG
Vice President, MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
Sejoon Chang is a sophomore from Seoul, South Korea studying Computer Science and Product Design and minoring in Data Science. With his academic and career interests encompassing design, marketing, and product management, he joined SMG his freshman year, working as a consultant for Firstcard and DIRECTV. Beyond Stanford and SMG, Sejoon enjoys traveling around the world, taking photos, and trying new dishes (currently co-running a foodstagram)!
Jacqueline FONG

Jacqueline Fong is a senior from San Francisco pursuing a BA in Psychology and minor in East Asian Studies. She joined SMG in the fall of her junior year as a consultant for Hilton Hotels and Microsoft Xbox. Outside of school and SMG, Jacqueline enjoys spends her time singing in a campus a cappella group, visiting art museums, and exploring new places. She loves meeting new people, so feel free to reach out!
DREW MESSING

Drew Messing is a sophomore from Tucson, Arizona studying Political Science and Data Science. He joined SMG in the fall of 2021 as a consultant for Hilton Hotels and DirecTV. Drew has experience in entrepreneurship, decentralized finance, and real estate development. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, watching stand-up comedy, and trying new restaurants.

Iris Ung is a junior double majoring in Science, Technology, & Society and Communication. Iris is passionate about entrepreneurship and emerging technology in the medical device space. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places to eat, photography, and waterskiing!
Karthick Arunachalam
Director, Project Managers
Karthick is a junior from Houston, Texas studying Economics and Political Science. He is fascinated by the interplay between the markets and political institutions, and he loves solving problems requiring both rigorous quantitative analysis and out-of-the-box design thinking. In his free time, Karthick can be found watching NBA basketball or reading political satire.
Sarah Jade Yao

Sarah is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Product Design. She joined SMG as part of Microsoft’s Xbox project. In her free time she enjoys graphic design, thrifting, working in the woodshop and cooking dinner with her friends.
Hau Phan

Hau Phan is a junior from Missouri double majoring in Philosophy and Economics. He joined SMG sophomore fall and found some of his closest friends through the organization. In his free time, he enjoys watching food videos, making Spotify playlists, and reading eastern philosophy. He also loves mentoring—feel free to ask him anything.

Luke Clifton is a sophomore from Oregon studying an undeclared engineering discipline. He works for a data analytics firm in New York City and spent time in the East Village illustrating and filmmaking. He looks forward to fostering camaraderie and excitement within Stanford Marketing Group.
KATHRYN ZHENG

Kathryn Zheng is a junior majoring in economics and planning to minor in creative writing and international relations from New Jersey. Outside of Stanford Marketing Group, she is involved with Stanford Tri Delta and The Stanford Daily. She spent this past summer at KPMG in San Francisco, working as an Embark Scholar intern, and will spend this upcoming summer at Strategy& in New York City. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, playing the ukulele, and thrifting.
LUCAS LEANZA

Lucas Leanza is a senior studying Economics from Hollywood, Florida, who has experience working with major marketing deliverables for clients such as Microsoft, Hilton Hotels, and BeReal. Lucas specializes in the creation, analysis and execution of primary and secondary research deliverables to provide sound marketing insights to the Stanford Marketing Group's clients. Outside of Stanford, Lucas also leads four international non-profits, has worked in Investment Banking at Wall Street and is passionate about the role of marketing and messaging for technology platforms and other major business decision makers.
Akanksha Monga

Akanksha Monga is a senior majoring in Economics and minoring in Computer Science from Mississauga, Canada. She has worked as a Strategy & Innovation at Deloitte for the past two summers and enjoys the fields of decision modelling and market design. In her free time, she enjoys watching Bollywood films, eating Korean food, playing board games, and looking at cute cat videos.

Katie is a junior from the Bay Area majoring in Human Biology with a concentration in Health Economics and Policy. She joined SMG her freshman year as a consultant and has worked on projects for LinkedIn Learning and Xbox before becoming a PM. In her free time, she enjoys eating good food, watching kdramas, reading cheesy romances, and drawing.

Thomas Escudero is a junior studying Computer Science and Product Design. He’s very passionate about the intersection between tech and design, and accessibility & equity in CS! Thomas is from Miami, FL, and he loves to go to the beach. He also loves listening to reggaeton, rock, and r&b. Outside of SMG, Thomas is involved in FashionX at Stanford.

Caroline Graham is a junior at Stanford University studying Symbolic Systems with a minor in English from Toronto, Canada. Outside of SMG, she serves as a teaching assistant for SymSys 1 and a research assistant at the Behavior Lab. In her free time, Caroline enjoys traveling, rock climbing, and reading!

Eli Waldman is a junior from Arlington, Virginia, majoring in Symbolic Systems and minoring in Human Biology. Eli joined SMG in the fall of 2021 as a consultant, and now serves as a project manager. He leads each project from a multidisciplinary perspective steeped in storytelling, data analytics, and creative problem solving, resulting in value-added client-specific recommendations and solutions. Outside of school he enjoys making music (guitar, keyboard), going to live shows in SF, surfing (trying to, at least) and playing basketball and lacrosse.

At Stanford, her academic interests lie in the intersection of business, marketing, and social impact. Outside of Stanford, she loves to paint, crochet, and spend time with friends.
